Responder Development & Empowerment

    Wellness & Empowerment

RDE provides counseling and group therapy from therapists trained in the unique aspects of responder work such as the impact of burnout, compassion fatigue, post traumatic stress, and exposure to traumatic events as part of the job. Having to be hypervigilant for the majority of your day can wear on your mind, body, and family relationships. RDE counselors work to help you restore your mental health and relationships through both preventative and reactive work with modalities such as EMDR.

    Development

First responders, military, and healthcare professionals face unique challenges. The curriculum we develop is specific to these challenges. Through research and education provided by first responders in the field, RDE brings tangible wellness education to precincts, firehouses, EMS academies, community leaders, and more to provide awareness and mental health trauma prevention strategies. We are currently working toward POST certification for our curriculum and we will tailor education and workshops to your department’s specific needs.

    Community Support

RDE partners with organizations to provide volunteers for events that assist first responders, military families, and other outreach opportunities. Living the vision of building relationships, advocacy, and support of responders, RDE members can help.
